Description:
Pre War boxlock extractor 16ga. by Herman Eichorn and Son of Rostov,Germany.This gun is fully engraved with game scenes and German floral engraving.It has 30" Krupp steel barrels choked modified and full.The bores are mint and free of rust,dents,or pitting.In addition,there is a set of Briley full length 28ga.insert tubes that can drop in the bores to make the gun a 28ga.The tubes are easy to install or remove,so you have 2 gauges in one gun.Other quality features include a scalloped action,cocking indicators,intercepting sears,a European cheekpiece,sling swivels,and a horn buttplate.The gun weighs 6-2 without the tubes and 6-9 with them installed.The stock is sound with no cracks or damage other than a few normal handling marks on the stock.This is a very high quality gun that would make a fine all around upland bird gun.C&R eligible.
