This is very nice Long Eye Relief Sniper as you will find.
The remaining blue would confidentially rate 97-98%. The only loss if from sharp edge silvering and some slight toning on the bolt handle. There is also a very small patch of surface scratches on the magazine floor plate. Honestly, the appears to have been either stored someplace or only used for parades or whatever.
The receiver besides the above-mentioned marks is stamped Eagle/135. Eagle/135, Eagle Swastika. The barrel is stamped Eagle/ Swastika
with two other faint stamp marks and then the traditional chamber measurement. The bolt which numbered 238XX.
The laminated wooden stock is in really nice condition. While it shows very little use there is a small area to the rear of the sling band that has had small chips nicked out of it. The rest of the stock is devoid of any splits chips or dings.
The barrel does show some wear. The rifling is still very well defined with modest graying. The sniper comes with a Zf 41 scope and mount. The mount is stamped duv/, Eagle/214, the scope OXN, zf 41/1. The scope comes with both front and rear sunshades. The optics are slightly clouded from age. The cross hair and post reticle is in great shape. There is still a lot of shooting fun in this sniper and it would look great in any collection.......$2295
