High Standard. Model 106 Military. Supermatic Tournament. Semi auto pistol. Cal .22. 5 1/2" barrel with an excellent bore. This series was designed to provide same grip angles and feel of the Colt military model 1911. Introduced in 1968 the design utilized the tooling of the 104 series which resulted in the occasional appearance of a bullet shaped brass design in the rear grip strap. The design appears as both a full bullet shape or only the outline. There is no premium for this feature. The magazines in this series have a red plastic bottom. The right side of the frame is marked MILITARY. This gun has a custom ramped target barrel by "Clark Custom Guns" of Louisiana. Clark custom guns was founded in 1950 by former United States Marine National Champion Bulls eye shooter Jim Clark Sr. Clark Custom Guns has repeatedly built guns claiming national level championships. Clark Custom Guns is still operated by 3rd generation family. This is a high quality target gun in excellent condition with excellent checkered walnut grips. Serial # 2123918.
