Description:
Custom Winchester 1885 single shot by Niedner. Caliber 25 Krag. This is a great looking Niedner with some great features! Barrel is marked A.O. Niedner Dowagiac MICH. There are no markings anywhere on the stock I removed the wood, butt plate etc. and found nothing however it is extremely nice workamship and the checkering is extraordiary! Light handling marks here and there and a very minor crack hardly visible on the top behind the rear tang which I glued when I recieved the rifle. Lyman 103 Windgauge rear sight and BSA 19a front sight as well as target blocks on the barrel,close set triggers bluing has full coverage with some very light specking on the barrel from previous rust perhaps but very minor. All in all a great Niedner rifle ready to be taken to the range.
