Here is one like Indiana Jones used. It is a Smith & Wesson Model 1917 Army issue. It is chambered in .45 ACP. and comes with a wooden case that includes a lanyard, military issue cleaning rod, three sets of half moon clips and two sets of full moon clips. The gun is mechanically perfect and the bore is excellent. The original walnut grips remain in excellent condition with just a couple of small marks and are free from any cracks. The original military issue Colt blue finish is excellent with just a couple of very light marks, certainly a terrific example for a 100 year old gun and one that would be hard to improve on. The butt is marked U.S. Army Model 1917 No. 56002. The under side of the barre is marked: "UNITED STATES PROPERTY". I also have a matching Colt 1917 listed that would make an excellent pair. I offer a three day non firing inspection period and always want the buyer to be satisfied with their purchase. The gun will be packed correctly and shipped via FedEx Air with insurance to your FFL dealer in the continental United States for $55 (California is extra because I have to ship through my local dealer). This gun requires a C&R or FFL license for transfer. I ship the following day after the payment arrives and provide tracking information.
