Description:
US Rifle Caliber 30 M1 S/N 880XXX with barrel dated 9-42 SA. Bought Oct 1985 from CMP & comes with all paperwork. Accurized by Paul Laberge to full National Match configuration including NM sights, fitted op rod, gas cylinder, glass bedding and trigger tuning etc.. Perfect new condition barrel as borescoped with Hawkeye borescope. Rifle only shot for zeroes and across the fifty shot National Match course in three leg matches using issue Lake City government match ammunition. Wood and metal all sound, undamaged and in excellent condition. Reliable accuracy is less than 1 1/2 minutes of angle. If you can hold it, it will clean the target out to at least 600 yards. At age 85 I can't shoot sitting or standing any more due to hips and knee replacements and back surgery.
