Description:
Mechanically excellent inside and out, rust-free and handsome as can be. Has light handling marks in the wood, virtually perfect blueing and is about the prettiest version of the Model 99 they produced (second only to a Model 99G take-down) Case colors on the lever are a bit muted, but still with some factory varnish present on sides and protected areas. 24" barrel has beautiful, clean chamber, crisp, shiny bore and rifling from front to back. Fore end, buttstock and buttplate matching assembly numbers to the action, factory originals, solid, with gorgeous checkering. 300 Savage caliber, SN# 6859xx from 1954. CA OK, C&R OK.
