Description:
Standard configuration 28 inch octagon barrel in the original chambering of 45-75 WCF caliber. Full length mag tube and crescent style butt. Bright shiny bore. Crisp action. Strong thinning original blue on barrel and mag tube. Sharp corners and markings. Reciever is mostly blue with upper right side of frame and the top of the frame turning plum/brown. Traces of case colors present on the hammer and lever. Butt plate is mostly a plum patina. Wood is nice fitting and looks like it has a little extra figure to it. Just a few dings and handling mars. Original sights. Very honest looking rifle in a desirable configuration and caliber made in 1888.
