Description:
This is a new Sako Bavarian half-stock sporter chambered in 7mm Remington Magnum. The rifle was taken in trade on one of my safari rifles, and appears unfired, with all the literature etc as supplied by Sako.
This rifle is equipped with the optional set trigger (ST). The trigger can be operated as a normal trigger, but when the trigger is pushed forward, it "sets" the trigger, so a light touch again on the trigger will fire the weapon. This is a great help in shooting super-accurate groups....you can almost "think" the rifle to fire, putting very little force on the rifle to help maintain an absolutely steady bullet release.
These rifles retail at most discounters for $1,998, but I don't need near that much for this one. Great rifle in a great all-around caliber.
