Description:
This is a like-new Blaser R8 bolt rifle in Jaeger Grade, currently in 308 Winchester. I've been a Blaser user since the early R93 days. I mostly travel to hunt, and the convenience of picking my barrel(s) and putting them and the stock in a case not much larger than a briefcase, and heading out is something I've grown used to. A scope mounts directly to the barrel on a Blaser, so once it's sighted in, it can be stored with the scope on, ready to use when attached to the rifle again. Blasers are known for their barrel inyterchangeability, straight bolt throw, and outstanding accuracy. Most Blaser barrels I've had were easy to get into the 1/2" range with a bit of load testing. I don't reload for any of my Blasers, as the right factory ammunition gets me to that point. These new model Blasers feature a drop-out trigger group, for the ultimate in safety when unloading or storing the rifle.
I have many Blaser rifles, and primarily use my Safari Pro, with heavier barrels in large calibers in a synthetic stock. I don't remember the last time I fired this rifle, so I guess it can go.
