Description:
This Carbine's barrel date is 10-42. The carbine's serial number is 48237. This is an all original carbine that has not been rebuilt. The barrel shows no sign of ever having a type three barrel band installed. The bore is bright and sharp. The stock has the correct large ordnance wheel with the IO and ordnance bomb in the sling well. The rear flip sight is original to this gun. The trigger housing has the correct double bevel. The operating rod has the correct half moon cut on the back. The bolt has the original blued finish and Circle IO on the big lug. All the internal parts are correct for this time frame. The magazine is the early style with the circle II code. The hand guard has the wide top groove with the bull nose front. The condition of this carbine is really fine showing little service use or wear. This gun would rate a 96% overall original condition. This is a very rare complete early production carbine that is nearly impossible to find today! Search for hlvfineguns on google for more information.
