Description:
SOLD----SOLD! Smith and Wesson "N" Prefix Model 29-2 .44 Magnum Nickel Revolver with a rare 8 3/8" Barrel. The Nickel finish is in excellent condition. There is no flaking, thinning, or frosting of the Nickel finish. There are superficial handling marks along the barrel, but no finish loss from any holster wear. Features include Target Hammer, Target Trigger, White Outline Rear Sight, and Red Ramp Front Sight. This Model 29 has had less than a box of ammo fired through it and locks up tight as it should. The wood grips are in Excellent Condition with some minor finish wear along the bottom. The original wood box is in Very Good Condition, however the rear hinges have worn through and need to be replaced. The plastic insert also has deteriorated and a liner has been placed over it. A two page letter from Smith and Wesson is also included showing a ship date of May 1978. $35 for Shipping and Handling.
