Description:
Winchester pre 64 model 12 Deluxe Trap Grade built in 1940.This gun is very rare in that it has a solid rib 26" barrel choked Winchester Skeet 2 (WS-2).WS-2 falls between improved cylinder and modified and is seldom found on model 12s,particularly on a Trap grade.This gun is in remarkable condition for its age.It retains 98% of the original blue and 99% of the original wood finish.The bolt and follower are engine turned from the factory.The wood is highly figured 3X wood.This is a very rare gun in mint condition.I my opinion,it was probably part of a 2 barrel trap/skeet set and the trap barrel is lost.Either way,it is a very desireable model 12.C&R eligible.
