Attractive Colt M1849 pocket revolver made at the height of the Civil War, 1863. One line New York address with scarce 5 inch barrel. Very crisp Colt with great cylinder scene, all matching numbers 233227 including wedge, very tight, good action. Grips retain most original Colt factory varnish. Gun is even age brown with traces of original bluing. A much better than usual ’49 and all matching. Sure to please any lover of untouched percussion Colts.
