Merkel Model 141.1 engraved side by side double rifle in .30-06 cal. with 21 ½” barrel length, single non-selective trigger w/auto ejectors and nicely figured wood throughout. Capped pistol grip with thin factory pad, cheek piece, deluxe checkering, and beavertail forend. Wood shows a couple very faint storage marks on right side of buttstock that have to be held to a light to see. Blue and bores are mint. Sling studs are installed with open sights and provisions for scope mounting. Greener crossbolt lockup that is tight as new. Dramatic deep relief game scene engraving signed by factory engraver Doreen Grill. Nice light double weighing in at 7lbs. 0 oz. Beautiful rifle ideal for medium game stalking and perfect for your next hunt. Complete with original box, snap caps and manual. Earlier model with non-adjustable regulation. 14 1/2 in. LOP.
