A former Purdey’s gun maker who set up shop in Canada, built on a non-self opening type of Beesley action, walnut stock has Prince of Whales grip and a splinter forend w/ Anson push rod, case hardened locks are game scene and scroll engraved w/ maker’s name, serial number and grade in gold, carved fences, gold lined cocking indicators and disk set strikers. 27” chopper lump barrels have Purdey type hidden third fastener and makers name in gold down filed rib. Overall in as new condition.
