Description:
Colt 1911 transition model. Stamped "Model of 1911 U S Army" this is the first year of the 1911A1 production 1924. Chambered in 45ACP with the correct dipped magazine with lanyard. Finished in Brushed Blue. Arched mainspring housing. Pistol is original and correct throughout. Finish is in good condition throghout with legible proof marks. Slight wear noted at the muzzle with some small scratches and nicks to the slide and frame. Wood grips in good condition. Idiot mark (scratch) located below takedown pin on frame. Overall a very good example of the Colt transition model. Enjoy the pictures. Please contact with any questions.
