Description:
This is an unmarked single shot Percussion Boot pistol in approximately 34 caliber.
  • It has an internally mounted hammer, birds-head grips, and a part round/octagonal barrel which unscrews from the frame to facilitate loading and cleaning.
    • Barrel length 3 ¼”

  • These were cheap inexpensive weapons designed with mostly cast parts very average fit and finish.

  • Grips are made from some type of light hardwood.

    Overall Condition:

  • This item is missing the nipple for the percussion cap.
  • Overall there is some pitting on the metal.
  • This item has not been test fired by us.

What's unusual about this one is the condition.  At that time these were fairly disposable and the maker didn't even want you to know who he was.  The ones that have survived 150 years are usually pretty beat up.  This would make a nice addition to a collection of pocket pistols or early American percussion weapons.
