As you can see from the “before” photographs, this is a very special shotgun restoration project. We’re proud to present for you our latest Parker restoration and look forward to it becoming part of your collection.
Carrying serial number 138774, this Parker DHE 10 Gauge is dated from 1906 and has been fully restored to its factory condition.
Extensive woodwork includes new stocks in 3XXX fancy, new grips cap, silver shield, new forend tip and original Parker skeleton buttplate. The shotgun’s forend and pistol grip is checkered in the DHE pattern.
Metal work is just as involved. A dent in the barrels was repaired, with the barrels then polished and engraving deepened before Damascus finish. Action and parts were polished, triggers nickel plated, and engraving re-cut. Receiver, top lever, forend iron, latch/housing, forend tip/screw were all color case hardened. Safety, trigger guard, butt plate, screws and small parts were all charcoal blued.
