Description:
30 inch #3 full octagon barrel chambered in 32-40 WCF caliber with a very good bright shiny bore. Most thinning original blue remains with some wear at the sharp corners of the octagons. A fair amount of original case color remains on the receiver. Most of the right side has faded except in the protected areas. A combination front sight and sporting rear as well as a Mid-Range Vernier tang sight are on the rifle. Wood appears to have a little extra figure to it. Traces of the original varnish remain on the forearm. Quite possibly the original finish was stripped and only traces remain? Otherwise wood is in very good condition. This is a good looking no frills antique single shot!
