Description:
This is a copy/reproduction of the Colt 3rd Model Dragoon revolver, which was manufactured from 1851 to 1861. This Italian made gun was manufactured sometime in 1980's to early 1990's. It is fitted with a 7 1/2 inch barrel, one-piece walnut grips, has a color case-hardened finished frame, loading lever, and hammer, a blue finished barrel, cylinder and screws, brass trigger guard and back-strap, and is .44 caliber percussion. It is in very fine condition, retaining 98-99% of its original blue finish and 99% of its original color case-hardened finish. The grips are in very fine condition, retaining most all of their original finish with only a few very minor handling marks. It is a very clean revolver, does not appear to have been fired.
