Colt 1911 Combat Commander Mark IV/Series 80 45acp With 4.25" Barrel, 6 grooves in the barrel. Serial Number FC20478, manufactured around 1988, fired less than five rounds and spent the rest of the 29 years in a show case gun cabinet since 1988. The Colt 1911 Mark IV Series 80 .45ACP Combat Comander is in great condition, no scuffs or blue wear. "Combat Commander Model" is stamped on the right side of barrel. "Colt Mark IV/Series 80, along with Colt's horse image" is stamped on the left side of barrel and "Colt .45 Auto" is Stamped on the breach. The original wood grips have the gold colored colt emblem inlay This Colt 1911 Mark IV Series 80 .45ACP Combat Comander weighs in at 2.43 lbs, including a fully loaded clip (7 rounds) and one in the chamber. The mussel Velocity is approximately 830'/Second (depending on ammunition used). This Colt 1911 Mark IV Series 80 .45ACP Combat Comander is a one owner and is totally original down to its checkered wood grips. It's length from firing hammer end to the end of the barrel is approximately 7.5" in length and The height from rear site to bottom of grip is approximately 5".
