Description:
This is a Pre-War (aka First Generation) Colt Single Action Army Revolver with a 5.5 inch barrel in .38-40 caliber. Serial number is 346145, manufactured in 1923. Overall condition is very good. Metal retains over 60% original finish with some case coloring on frame and blued barrel, trigger guard and back strap. No metal surface pitting and smooth throughout. The bore is bright and shiny with a very minor pitting, lands and grooves are sharp. The grips have no chips or cracks, showing only light honest wear. The action is crisp and mechanically perfect. This gun is honest, has seen use but not abuse.
