Description:
A beautiful all original Baker Paragon grade built in 1896.This gun is in truly outstanding condition, retaining at least 50% of the original case colors,98% of the original damascus finish, and 95% of the original wood finish. The barrels are fine damacus and are 28" long and choked full (,030") and full (.030").The bores are perfect with no rust, dents,or pitting. The bore diemeters are .720" and the chambers are original 23/4".The wall thickness averages over .038" with the thinnest point I could find being .033".I have shot sporting clays with this gun using federal trap loads. The barrels lock up tightly with no play at all.The sidelocks are beautifully engraved featuring pointers on one side and setters on the other. There is a single quail on the bottom of the receiver and a single duck on the trigger guard. The wood is sound and free of any cracks or damage. There were only 1300 Paragons built and each one was special ordered so no two are exactly alike. This one is really in collector condition.Take a look at the photos and call if you have any questions.Classified as an antiquer so it can be shipped direct.I just need proof that you are over 21.
