Description:
Colt Model 1860 Thuer Conversion in 44 Percussion. Manufactured c. 1869-72. The Thuers were Colt's first entry in metallic cartridge revolvers. Serial No. 179740 visible in four places. Mostly light grey finish with areas on pitting. Only a suggestion of cylinder markings remain. Loose frame barrel fit but, appears to index and locks on all six chambers.
