Description:
U.S. Model 1888 Trapdoor Rifle. Late gun made in 1891. Very fine gun with 80% of the blue on the barrel. About half of the case colors on the breech block and almost all of the blue on the lock. Stock has minor handling marks and unit of rack number on the right hand side of the stock, possibly ROTC? Cartouches are still sharp and visible. Bore is excellent! This model has the ramrod bayonet and it works perfectly.
