If you have seen any of these they are usually well worn, costing less than $8.00 when new at the turn of the 19th century, this one a little better than most, wood has one repaired crack in forend that is very hard to find, typical black powder bore, this one shoots alright, and works well, a good gun to teach how trigger pull affects accuracy. Orig Buttplate , Metal on this one is all patina but no rust, and you can read all the letters on the Barrel. these are hard to find guns, and this is above average
I think, for a collector that has not found one yet.
