Description:
Very nice example of a 1939 Police Luger, very few were were made in 1939! Serial number #8917, with small "n" underneath. Marked by Mauser, "S/42" and "1939". This has the very early "Schiwy" Sear Safety. All numbers match on the pistol and both magazines. Original holster dated 1939 that includes tool. This pistol has had very little use and has 99%+ of original finish! Holster has a shallow scratched initials "JA" on the back side. Has a like new bore. 4" barrel. The finely checkered Walnut grips show very light "smoothing" from carrying. It would be hard to fund an original example as nice as this! Buyer pays $45.00 shipping to lower 48 states.
