German P.08 Luger "G" date Pistol, code: S/42 Mauser, serial # 1xx8 d, cal. 9mm, 4" barrel with a bright about excellent bore with minor frosting in the grooves. The metal surfaces retain 95% refinished blue along with the straw parts. There is some minor pinprick pitting on the trigger guard, breech block and side plate and scratches /tool marks on the right side of the frame below the receiver but nothing I would consider drastic. The toggle is marked with an "S/42" assembly code, the chamber is G-dated and all of the visible numbered parts are matching with the exception of the grooved firing pin which is numbered 67 to a different gun. The checkered walnut grips rate about very good with an overall flattening of the points and they are not numbered on their interior. Included is a single blue-bodied, aluminum-based magazine. The overall condition is very good - very good plus. Inv.: # 1-1322
