Description:
This is a hard to find Service Grade Springfield M1 Garand, with all parts Springfield except for the Trigger Housing (IHC). I purchased in 1985, before CMP was providing any certificates. However I do have DD1149 certifyinmg the rifle as "Service Grade." Barrel is stamped 7-43 and the Serial Number puts the rifle with a "Born on Date" of August, 1943, so the rifle was truely a World War II rifle. Excellent condition (see pics), except for some small scratches on the stock. Rifle shoots true! Priced to sell.
