Pre war FN Mauser sporting rifle in 8x57.This rifle has a mint bore and a 24"barrel.Features include claw mounted 4X scope,a butterknife bolt handle,a European cheekpiece,one standing one folding express sights,sling swivels,and a horn buttplate.The scope does not have a makers name on it.However,it is very clear and bright.The reticle is a post with horizontal crosshairs.The rifle is in excellent overall condition retaining around 95% of the original blue and wood finish.The trigger is a single stage trigger that breaks clean at 3 lbs. with no overtravel.This is a classic European style rifle in excellent condition and in a usable caliber.C&R eligible.
