S&W Model 45 Post Office .22 Long rifle Revolver. 4in barrel, blue finish with checkered walnut grips numbered to the gun.Model-45 inside yoke. With letter. No scratches or wear marks and only a slight turn mark on the cyclinder. Very close to new. Comes in a Model 10 38 Military and Police blue box not original to pistol. Produced as a training gun for the US Postal Service. Shipped August 1 1962. It was an overrun from a shipment to the US General Services in San Francisco.Only 1500 produced from 1948 to 1978.This model was never cataloged. A rare S&W revolver.
