Description:
Beautiful case colored Webley & Scott Model 720 boxlock ejector in 20 gauge with 3” chambers. Near perfect bluing. Made in 1971 and weighs 6lb even. If even one box of shells have been put through it I would be surprised. Cased in a genuine Brady case with maker’s label and accessories.   ***   Straight grip stock with splinter forearm made out of highly figured walnut with crisp checkering. Checkered butt. Stock dimensions are 14-5/8” by 1-3/8” by 2”. Slightly cast off for the right hand shot.   ***   The ejector barrels are 26” in length and chambered for both 2-3/4” and 3” cartridges. The barrels are topped by a solid raised crosshatched rib. The right barrel is bored 0.615 with a constriction of 0.009 for Improved Cylinder choke. The left barrel is bored 0.614 and has a constriction of 0.025 for Full choke. Modern manufacture with excellent wall thickness.   ***   The genuine Brady case is in great condition inside. The exterior does show some color fading but no tears.   ***   Buyer is responsible for all shipping, insurance and related charges. I give a three-day non-firing inspection and will only accept returns if gun is not as described. This is a well priced small bore English boxlock from a well known maker and would make an ideal double for clays or game. Fast handling grouse, woodcock or quail gun. Don’t let it get away!
