Description:
Antonio Zoli N.3 Grade, Dakota Sport Sporting Clays 12 Gauge. This very beautiful and a very rare Dakota Sport sporting clays shotgun was manufactured by Antonio Zoli for Dakota Arms, a high end American rifle maker from South Dakota. Very few of these Dakota Sport sporting clay guns were ever made. Research indicates less than forty were manufactured. The shotgun sports 32" barrels with 3" chambers, a wide sporting clays ventilated rib and a silver beaded front sight. Includes two extended choke tubes, a light mod. and a skeet 2 choke. The silver receiver is beautifully engraved with scroll and bobwhite quail game scenes, and features an LOP adjustable, detachable single trigger, and the top tang safety is also a thumb actuated barrel selector. The bottom of the receiver at the left of the trigger-guard is marked/engraved "inc Ri.Pa". The near exhibition grade walnut stock has a checkered target palm swell grip, adjustable comb for both cast and drop, and a Kick-Eez recoil pad. The trigger to recoil pad measures 14 1/2" length of pull with the adjustable trigger currently set at mid-point. Condition: Overall the shotgun is in very good to excellent condition. The barrels have a few very fine, short scratches and the forend wood has a couple of very faint shallow impressions, where the butt-stock has small scratches and a couple of 1/4"  to 3/8" dings along the bottom. The breech face shows some sign of shooting and the release lever is to the right of center (see third photograph). There is a lot of shooting life left in the handsome sporting gun. The shotgun weighs 8 1/2 Lbs.
