Description:
A very rare Winchester pre 64 model 12 Deluxe Trap grade with a 26" solid rib WS-2 barrel.Built in 1940,this gun has very highly figured deluxe wood.The gun is in outstanding all original condition retaining at least 98% of the original blue and wood finish.The WS-2 choke is rarely seen on model 12s.WS-2 choke falls between improved cylinder and modified.Today it would be called light mod.It is my opinion that this gun was originally a 2 barrel set with a tight choked trap barrel and the WS-2 skeet barrel.All I have today is the WS-2.This is a beautiful and rare model 12 that would make a fine all around bird or clays gun or a fine addition to any collection.C&R eligible.
