Description:
Nice used condition Model 50 with a 29 1/2 barrel and Poly-choke. Vent rib may be a Simmons add-on. This is a heavy shotgun and if you read-up on it was ahead of its time recoil mechanism wise, you will see that you have a very light recoiling gun. I have 3 of them and have shot quite a bit of steel through 2 of them on other than full choke settings. A lot of steel in the making of these guns and though they aren't as technilogically advanced as the new offerings, they still are deadly in the field in the right hands. This one also has some type of Cutts Compensator type device along with the choke settings to further dampend muzzle rize. Good beginner gun for someone who can command an 8 5/8 lb. shotgun. Not that heavy when you compare them to what some of the 3 inch A5's weigh or even some of the standard ones. Any questions, feel free to ask.
