Description:
The 41 LONG COLT This is a nice original intermediate black powder Colt single action in the scarce 41 cal. It was made in the late 1880's. Serial # is 128xxx. Good and interesting transition model in that it has the tiny 41 stamped on the barrel under the ejector rod as well as the 41 cal marking on the trigger guard. There are traces of original blue in protected area's. The timming is perfect, the lock up tight. The Eagle grips are correct but show some shrinkage. If you would like Ivory let me know? The bore is 7-8 out of 10. Book lists value 5000.00 + 10% for 4 3/4" barrel and 10%-20% for eagle grips.
I do have 41 long colt ammunition for it. I also have a 38- 40 cylinder fitted and timmed if the purchaser is interested. The price listed is for the gun only. This Can be shipped dirrectly to you as long as your local laws will allow such.
