Description:
Breechblock is marked "Model 1870" over Eagles head, crossed swords and "US". Buttplate is stamped "44B". Overall metal is a brown patina. Wood has been lightly freshened and has some mars, dents and scratches. Left side has partially visible cartouches. Bore has some scattered light pitting.
