WILSON COMBAT .45 ACP COLT Series 70 Lightweight Commander Model
An early Bill Wilson Gun (1985) Built when this small shop in Arkansas (I believe there were only three people working in the shop besides Bill at this time) turned out the best defense and competition 45's in the world. There is no way to know for sure, of course, weather Bill himself worked on this gun, but he did much of the custom work during the early days before the shop got too big, and this gun was discussed with him personally while it was being built. I am the second owner of this pistol in as new condition. Test fired only. Work on this gun, especially the barrel fitting is the best I have seen coming from the Wilson shop. Features include Bo-Mar low mount sights, rear of slide serrated to match the sight leaf, fitted slide and frame,hand select colt barrel fitted to slide and target bushing installed. Trigger job with National Match trigger, polished feed ramp and throat; Ejection port flared back, Extracter polished and adjusted, narrow combat safety installed. Slide stop detent, Checkered mainspring housing, Wilson Spring Kit, Custom walnut grips. The workmanship in this gun cannot be duplicated today. Original Work sheet from the Wilson Gun Shop will ship with pistol and two (2) seven (7) round Colt magazines.. Price includes shipping & Ins to FFL.
