Description:
The Colt "New Line" 2nd Model was made from 1876 to 1884.  The 5-shot revolvers were fitted with either a 1 3/4, 2 1/4 or 4 inch barrel, long cylinder flutes with cylinder stop slots cut into the back of the cylinder, may or may not have a loading gate, spur trigger, full nickel or blue/case hardened finished, and were chambered in either .22, .30, .32, .38, or .41 RF or CF.  This gun is as described, and is fitted with a 2 1/4 inch barrel, no loading gate, originally blue/case hardened finished, and is chambered in .30 RF.  It is in good condition, retaining non of its original finishes, and has turned a silver/grey patina.  The bore has visible rifling, is shootable, and the action fuctions as it should, but the cylinder lock-up is somewhat loose.  The nice looking grips retain 30% of their original finish, fit very well, and have no chips or cracks.  Antique firearm, FFL not required.  Decent example of its type.       PRICE:   $295      We are Antique & Modern Firearms in Lexington, KY, dealer of fine firearms since 1974.   PH. 859-276-1419         We Buy, Sell and Trade Firearms & Knives.    Have a Individual FirearmFirearms Collection, or Firearms Estate to sell, let us know, we can buy or consignment sell it for you.       (sales at am-firearms)
