By george almost minty, about as good as you can find. The gun still has at least 96-97% of the original factory nickel. The loss is contained to some nicks on the edges, the usual cylinder turn ring and some slight flaking on front of the cylinder.
All parts are correct. The case colored hammer and trigger show some slight rub marks from use but the rest of the gun has no rust or pits.
The black factory gutta percha grips are almost perfect, the left grip panel does have a small chip in the bottom.
The recoil shield and force cone show very little use.
The bore very bright with sharp crisp rifling. There is not a hint of frost, there is very little indication that it has seen other than a few shots in its long history. Even with that flaw the gun is outstanding buy for the collector.....$269
