Description:
This is a sporterized Arisaka Type 99 chambered for 7.7 JAP. The 24” blued barrel is in good condition having a little light finish wear. The bore has some roughness but the rifling is intact. The blued receiver is uncorroded and has been drilled and tapped for a scope mount. The bolt handle has been modified and the safety has been removed. The blued trigger guard and floor plate are uncorroded and developing a patina. The walnut stock with raised cheek rest, pistol grip, and white line spaced black plastic nose cap is in good condition. There are no major scratches or dents that disrupt the finish and it has been fitted with a Pachmayr buttpad. Sold AS IS. Length of pull is 14-½”, overall length is 44-½”, and weight is 7.4 lbs.
