Description:
26 inch full octagon barrel with full mag and rifle butt configuration chambered in the rare .38-70 WCF caliber. Only 830 mfg. Pretty good bore with shine and some light scattered roughness. Mag tube has thinning blue while the barrel appears to have been cleaned decades ago and is toning to a brown patina. Case colored receiver has mostly silver/grayed out. Traces of color on the hammer and lever. Good mechanics. Wood is good fitting several light abrasions and handling mars. A good looking example of a rare Model 1886 rifle from 1895.
