Description:
This is a Colt Model of 1911 U.S. Army pistol in .45 ACP that is marked United States Property and has the JMG inspector mark. The serial number dates to 1918. This pistol appears to be original. Metal is in Good to Very Good condition with some freckling on the right side of the slide. The bore has some light pitting, but the rifling is strong. The Diamond Checkered grips are in Very Good condition. The magazine is of the two toned variety.
