Description:
The Astro Modelo 400 was the standard side arm for the Spanish Army during the Spanish Civil War. It chambers the 9mm Largo, with a 6” barrel and a magazine that holds 8 rounds. Hammerless semi auto, simple blowback with no locking mechanism. Manufactured in 1937-38 with matching serial numbers of 79019 on the barrel, slide and frame. Worn bluing on raised edges, possible holster wear. Wood is in good condition with minor visible aging, and the action is smooth.
