Description:
This is a consecutively numbered matched pair of Perazzi lightweight game guns that can be used for driven bird shooting or walked up birds because the 28 inch barrels have Briley screw chokes whcih make the pair extremely versatile for all types of shooting. Perazzi achieved light weight by removing the side ribs under the forends, using a light receiver, and a removable alloy trigger housing with coil springs. The guns have serial numbers in the 44XXX range and were manufactured in the 1970's. During the 1980's, Pachmayr Gun Works restocked the guns in exhibition grade walnut and the Briley screw chokes were installed. These guns show virtually no wear to the bluing or the wood and are pristine. The stock dimensions are 14 7/8 in LOP, 1 1/2 in drop at comb, and 2 1/2 in drop at heel with about 3/8 in cast off. The guns weigh just under 7 1/2 lbs each. I have used the pair for two driven shoots in the UK, and the guns have had very few shells put through them. This is an opportunity to acquire a magnificent pair of custom game guns that are no longer manufactured and hardly used at a bargain price.
