Description:
Ithaca collectors take notice.This is a rare Flues 11/2 Quality 12 gauge with several rare options and outstanding all original condition.The gun has 30" Krupp steel barrels choked modified (.014") and full (.040") and so marked on the barrels.The gun has mirror bores,23/4" chambers,and ejectors.This gun retains at least 80% of the original case colors,98% of the original barrel blue,and 95% of the original wood finish.The LOP is 141/8" over the original Ithaca bakelite buttplate.The wood is sound with no cracks or damage other than a few light handling marks.The engraving is sharp and the screws are clean.The top lever is far to the right indicating that the gun has been shot very little.The 11/2 grade guns were only made for a short time with fluid steel barrels as the outbreak of WWI cut off the supply of both damascus and Krupp steel barrels.This is a collector quality gun with a lot of hard to find options.C&R eligible.
