From my advanced John Wayne collection comes this 1902 rolling block Remington rifle that was used in the 1960 movie The Alamo. It is stamped on the wood stock BATJAC which was John Wayne's production company. I acquired this from a retired Los Angeles police officer whose horse patrol unit each was given these rifles in 1970 by Tom Hennessy directed to by John Wayne. Mr. Hennessy was a stuntman/actor with John Wayne in many of his movies. These rifles were stored in a Malibu barn which caught fire and destroyed most of them. These were giving out before that fire. This is a very rare entertainment movie item. I have a letter from the retired police officer that I bought this from. Also if interested ....being sold separately I have two Mexican uniforms an infantry and an officers ...along with a Mexican infantry Shako hat that I will be selling that also were worn in the Alamo movie.
