Description:
Winchester Model 64 lever action rifle with factory 26" barrel, standard grade, in the scarce 219 Zipper caliber. Serial # 1,328,xxx dates it to approximately 1943 and falls in the range where the serial # records are missing. Stocks are sound with no splits or cracks, never sanded or refinished, no extra holes, and exhibit typical dings and scratches from use. Forearm has small spot of wood filler but looks more like a stain than anything else. Barrel has scattered pinprick oxidation and a bit of cold blue touch up around the area of the front sight, otherwise bluing is untouched and strong on barrel, mag tube and receiver. Bore is mint. Action feeds, functions, fires and operates as it should. Bolt has holes for factory bolt peep but peep was discarded at some point. Still a collector's prize due to caliber. Must ship to FFL or C&R holder. No sales to California and no international sales. Payment via money order or bank check only. 3 day non-firing inspection. Return shipping is buyer's responsibility.
