Description:

Colt 1851 Navy .36 caliber revolver. 3rd Model. Serial #16,XXX. Loading lever is unnumbered and all other numbers are matching. Gun shows service use and has a brown patina. Brass parts have an even mustard color patina. Action works fine but does not hold half-cock. Full-cock works fine. Gun comes with what appears to be the well-worn original holster. Gun fits it perfectly and the holster and gun came to us together. Almost certainly a civil war used revolver.
